WELCOME~

Growing up in a small town, we didn't have housing developments. What we had were streets lined mostly with trees and homes built by individuals. I remember when a small housing development began across town and I couldn't help but think how weird it was that a bunch of mostly identical homes were being built so close to each other... it was stark,ugly, and made me uncomfortable. I remember thinking I'd never live in a housing development..I'd always be in my own unique space. I was very young and I was very wrong. I didn't end up in a sunny cottage on the edge of town or a small farm out in the boonies.. I have landed in a house that's just like every 4th or 5th house in a housing development in small town suburbia. I realized that regardless of where you are..or what cookie cutter home one lives in, there are a buh-zillion and one ways to make it your own. From my own little suburban *cottage* you will find me posting anything from cooking to sewing to flower watching.. people watching, short stories, poetry, rants, raves and anything else you can imagine~ Please stay awhile, explore all little parts of my life. You may find your self, laughing, rolling your eyes, disgusted, inspired, aggravated, happy, ect ect ect..

Sneak Peek

I'm posting some photographs by an award winning photographer.. These are just sneak peeks of her talent and the most exciting part is that she will be opening her own Etsy Shop soon.
 She is the most talented photographer i know.. her steadfast attention to even the smallest detail makes her a standout in the crowd of wannabe photogs, and.. the best part?? She just happens to be my very most favorite Soster. The fact that she is my only Soster has nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that she is my fave.. just wanted to point that out.
 I have a few of my own pictures that she helped me with in photoshop.. we spent many long hours online, via Chat, and she led me step by step how to fix my photos. With her talent she somehow managed to make my stuff wonderful... but with all her help, I still don't have the extreme talent she has.. Sooner later I will post some that she *helped* me with but for now..I'd like to shine a spotlight on a true artist, someone whose talent everyone should be in awe of..Someone who I am thankful for every single day, my talented beyond words Soster, Cheryl Flora.

 Now I'll leave you be to gaze upon the beauty she has managed to capture with detail so real you know you wanna touch the rain drops on that hydrangea!!
and if we are all lucky I bet she will let me post some of her digiscrapbook pages in the future!
